Story -

Daas Dev movie is based in Uttar Pradesh. Actually the story is about the main character Dev (Rahul Bhat). After his father's assassination whole empire inherited to his uncle (Saurabh Shukla). Now aged uncle wants to handover total empire to Dev because Dev is the only heir of this political empire after his uncle. Dev loves his childhoor friend Paro (Richa Chadda) and he wants to marry Paro. But on other hand Chandni (Aditi Rao Hydari) loves him. She also knows that Dev doesn't want her. Now suddenly political situation get changed and things become complicated. Now Dev has to choose the right path.

Movie Review -

The script of Daas Das is the story of a political legacy of today’s era but concept has been taken from classic novels. Director wants to present this political story as a love tale on a large canvas.  But large portion of the screenplay only focuses on family politics and political fight story. Even love story of Dev and paro has been overshadowed. Lots of scope of acting has been given to movies's main character Rahul Bhat and as expected he has done excellent job. But this is also true that story of Dev’s character needs more presence of Rahul Bhat in screen.

Richa Chadha and Aditi Rao Hydari, are the leading actress in this movie. They also performed very well and contribute their best to make a good movie. But screenplay is not consistent throughout the film. Supporting character like Avdhesh is very important in this movie and no doubt Saurabh Shukla has done his best. Anurag Kashyap also done good job in his short role. Music performance is average and it’s not having any special element.
