Story -

Thugs of Hindostan is Indian historic movie. It’s a story of Thugs group, Rounakpur kingdom and British East India Company. Mirza Sikander Baig is the king of Rounakpur. Lord Clive captures Mirza’s kingdom and kill his whole family. But Mirza’z obedient companion Khudabaksh somehow manage to rescue little princess Zafira. Khudabaksh forms an anti British rebel group to revenge. Zafira also joins the group later. Then British company appoints a canny Thug Firangi to stop Khudabaksh and his group. Thugs of Hindostan is one of the big-budget movie among latest movies.

Movie story based on Rounakpur, independent state of British ruled India. Mirza Sikander Baig is the independent king of Rounakpur kingdom. He makes weapons in a secret place of his palace to fight against British. His obedient companion Khudabaksh and prince start visiting other Indian states to form anti-British group. But British somehow kidnap the prince and Lord Clive demands the kingdom from Mirza. Then Clive kills his whole family but Khudabaksh somehow manage to rescue little princess Zafira. Gradually little princess Zafira becomes a professional rebel worrier. Khudabaksh is her mentor and guardian. Revenge is the only aim in Zafira’s life. Now Khudabaksh is also known as Azaad. Azaad not only a name but also it means independence and trust. Also Azaad is a story of revenge and story of love, friendship & emotions. 

Thugs of Hindostan is a pure commercial and predictable movie. You can anticipate, what is going to be happened in climax. It is also a period movie. But it’s not a good idea to compare movie script with history because no mainstream big-budget bollywood movie script is completely correct. Actually this movie is a complete package of entertainment. If you come to watch this movie for recreation or enjoyment then you are at right place.  

It's a story about Thugs but where is Thugs in this movie? We find Thugs in only one scene. Moreover their activity is just like sea dacoits but no idea why they have been called Thugs. Khudabaksh’s character in this movie is the symbol of honest and trust. But on other hand Firangi Mallah’s character is completely opposite. He is a number one cheater, liar and fraud person and doesn’t believe in trust and emotions. He has set price for all things. These two opposite characters combine to fight against Clive. There are lots of funny scenes in this movie. Actually most of the dialogues of Aamir as a Firangi Mallah are funny. Film makes also present one action scene in comedy environment and Aamit’s act is just like Charlie Chaplin in that scene. Apart from Charlie Chaplin we also find the impression of Jack Sparrow in this movie.  

Aamir Khan once again has proved his high level acting skill. You can find the well known Aamir flavor in the character Firangi Mallah, which is quite enjoyable. He also able to maintain suspense in every scene. Amitabh Bachchan also has done mind-blowing performance as Azaad. But Katrina and Fatima’s acting is no up to the mark. Katrina’s dance performance is excellent but dialogue through is not so good. Fatima has done her filmy stunts properly but she is quite uncomfortable in emotional scenes, maybe it’s happened because she is quite new in the industry. As an audience we can expect little more perfection in special effect scenes. But after all this flaws, still lots of entertainment you can find.
