Story -

Two main characters of movie '102 Not Out' are - a 102 years old father Dattatraya Vakharia (Amitabh Bachchan) and his 75 years old son Babulal (Rishi Kapoor). Dattatraya wants to break the record of oldest living person and to break this record he has to live for more 16 yesrs. His character is cheerful and fun loving but his son Babulal’s nature is boring and irritable. Dattatraya thinks that his son’s morose nature may create obstruction to break the record of oldest living person. So, he decides to send his son Babulal to old-age home but Babulal denies going old-age home. Then finally Dattatraya allow Babulal to stay at home basis of some conditions.

Story of the movie '102 Not Out' is uncommon and special. This movie shows a unique father-son relationship story - a 102 years old cheerful and fun loving natured father wants to break the record of oldest living person. But his 75 years son’s nature is boring and irritable. Father Dattatraya decides to send his son Babulal to old-age home because of his boring nature. This is quite unique and funny twist of this movie. 

The main attraction of this movie is the acting performance of two legend actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor plays a role of shot-tempered morose old man and Amitabh Bachchan plays a role of 102 years old cheerful & fun loving person. As expected, both of them have done excellent job in this movie. Their chemistry, expression and dialogue delivery is amazing. 

This movie story is based on a Gujarati play. The main movie script is based on a father-son funny relationship and it’s quite enjoyable. But one more father-son story has been introduced, which is Babulal and his son’s story. Babulal’s son is Amol (Dharmendra Gohil) who not even comes to see his father in last 20 years. This second father-son story creates complications. One more problem we found in the story is that here the characters are either completely positive or completely negative.  But human character is combination of positive and negative. Movie is full of emotions and drama. 

You can enjoy this movie with your family. Here director presents sweetness and bitterness of a family and it has been presented nicely. Finally it can be said that this movie is full package of emotion, drama and comedy.
