Story -

October movie story is about 21 year old young guy Dan (Varun Dhawan) college friend Shiuli Iyer (Banita Sandhu). After completing college degree they start working in five start hotel in Dilhi as a hotel management trainee. Some of their college friends also working with them at same hotel. But an unfortunate incident happen at New Year eve and that incident changes their life forever. Shiuli Iyer fall from a high and get seriously injured. After this a emotional love story starts between Dan and Shiuli.

Movie Review -

Varun Dhawan is known for his comedy acting. No doubt he is a good actor. After Badlapur this is the first time he has done serious emotional role in this movie. His colleague and college friend Shiuli Iyer suddenly met with an accident. Dan comes to know that Shiuli’s last words before the accident were “where is Dan”. Then he wants to know why she was asking for him and start visiting the hospital every day to see her. After returning from hospital she can’t able to move or speak and not even able to express her emotions means she becomes a lifeless lady. But Dan able to understand her unspoken desire and decides to stay support her for lifelong. This seems a love connection but actually this attachment is far more than the word love. Varun has done excellent job to express this emotional scenes. Banita Sandhu’s performance is also good in this movie. 

Story writer Juhi Chaturvedi also has presented us lots of excellent scenes in this movie. First of all script of this movie is excellent, filled with love and emotion. Screenplay is not bad. Editor also has done great job as he does not allow any unnecessary scenes in this movie. Cinematography is also nice. One more attraction of this movie is nice landscape shots of Kullu and Delhi. Background score and Production design also nice. 

Shantanu Moitra is the music composer of this movie. He has presented some intense and deep music experience to us. Shoojit Sircar as a director has done bind blowing job. He has presented a new and fresh image of Varun Dhawan, which is really enjoyable.
